Hybrid Card
Context
From the Mercado Pago UX cards team, we launched a hybrid card in Brazil in Q2 of 2020, which at the product level has these characteristics. The card has a virtual version that is used to buy online, which must be used as credit in a fee. The physical card that completes the possibility of purchases in physical stores, and is used as a debit function. And finally, the card ends up referring to its name when, for some users who have a good score, they will be offered an upsell within the app to be able to convert it into credit

Objetive
Launch an improved card with new functions such as contactless, chip + PIN that are activated as the user needs them.
Understanding the needs of different audiences and putting together research strategies to create a product that adapts to the mental model of users in Brazil and Mexico. Due to the complexity of the product, it was a great challenge to achieve an experience that minimizes friction for users.
My role
Understand issues and create solutions for workflows:
  • Virtual card request
  • Physical card request
  • Virtual and physical referrals
  • Dashboard understanding improvements

  • Apply reserve and capture model
Friends & family coordination to find errors before product rollout.

Payment and withdrawal notification journey
Prepaid Card
Context
Confidence in the transactions carried out by the user. Control and security of your prepaid card operations.

Objetive
Strengthen the product to provide feedback on the use of the card. Reduce the number of contacts in CX, Increase NPS of the Prepaid product.

My role
Identify and implement push when purchasing or withdrawing money with the prepaid card, and delimit the time by number of days that live in the app's Notification Center.
Splinter: platform to create landing pages for Marketing campaings
Context
Splinter is a tool to create landing pages designed for the needs of the Marketplace.

Objetive
Give tools to the MP Marketing team to run campaigns with greater independence.

My role
Allow the MKT MP team to generate a productive landing page with greater agility using the Splinter tool.
Reveal the current ML splinter components, adapt them to MP and add others required by the MP such as BU.
